Shopping Center Welcomes ELITE Salons & Suites, Squishable, the New Bethany Ministries Luminaria, and a Multi-Vendor Holiday Pop-Up Market
CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – October 25, 2022 – The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley, an open-air lifestyle shopping center in Center Valley, Pennsylvania (www.thepromenadeshopsatsauconvalley.com), today announced the addition of four new tenants: ELITE Salons & Suites, Squishable, the New Bethany Ministries Luminaria, and a Multi-Vendor Holiday Pop-Up Market, each opening before the end of the 2022 calendar year.

As part of a community partnership, welcoming New Bethany Ministries to the property for the holiday season will make it convenient for shoppers to participate in the time-honored community tradition of lighting luminaries on a single night to share care and concern for the less fortunate and to raise funds and awareness for an important local non-profit. And the first-ever Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley Holiday Pop-Up Market will give us a chance to showcase the talents and wares of local artisans this holiday season.”
ELITE Salons & Suites
- ELITE Salons & Suites is a premier independent provider of custom luxurious salon suites. ELITE makes it possible for independent salon professionals to become successful entrepreneurs by providing a luxurious and high-end space, like-minded professionals to connect with, and the guidance of mentors invested in their success. Each ELITE suite includes everything a new salon operator needs to get started: a shampoo bowl, mirror, styling chair, cabinetry, and studio lighting, all without the up-front costs and expenditures normally incurred when opening a traditional salon.

Squishable
- Squishables are giant round, fuzzy balls of plush designed in Soho in NYC by a team of illustrators, comic book artists, coders, actors, an ex-truck driver, and various other industry refugees. Squishables has been creating cuddles for 15 years now, growing from a tiny mom-and-pop shop run out of a living room into the (still pretty tiny) 33-person company it is today. Many of its designs are also crowdsourced from the company’s million-strong group of fans who create and vote on hundreds of new potential Squishables each year. The world can be a hard place. Hug something soft.

New Bethany Ministries – Luminaria Night Retail Location
- New Bethany Ministries offers hope and support to people facing poverty, hunger and homelessness. The organization meets people where they are by offering wraparound services designed to remove barriers and assist individuals and families in reaching self-sufficiency. It starts with a meal and other street-level human services, including showers, laundry services, mailing address and monthly access to its food pantry, and continues with housing assistance, job search support and tools, and case management. To raise both awareness for its cause and funds to support its mission, New Bethany Ministries hosts an annual Luminaria Night each year. This year, the event will take place on Saturday, December 10th. People who wish to support this worthy cause can purchase a luminaria kit or make a donation to New Bethany Ministries. Luminary kits will be sold at the Luminaria Night temporary location at The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley from mid-October through December 10th. In 2021, the effort raised more than $148,000 through kit purchases and over 94,000 candles were displayed throughout the Lehigh Valley. The ministry hopes to exceed those numbers this year.

Holiday Pop-Up Market
- In 2022, The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley will host its first-ever holiday pop-up market. With 10 local vendors participating, shoppers will find a carefully curated selection of the area’s best gift ideas as well as an array of clothing to fit their personal styles, unique home goods, and more.
