Kushka Visits the Zoo
In this story, Kushka visits the zoo with her good friend Tasha, and her mommy and daddy. This beautifully illustrated book features many of the favorite zoo animals children like to talk about and watch. At the end of the story, Kushka prepared a very special scavenger hunt for you to find some hidden items. Watch for other Kushka products, including her very own plush doll and other books.

Carrots Take a Long Time to Chew
When she heard the cry of life and felt that tiny, perfect being placed into her arms, her heart briefly stopped. The wonder she had dreamt about, the awe she had anticipated was totally overshadowed by this moment of elation. The feeling was engulfing.

Sarah's heart broke after her first love was killed in the Vietnam War. Not sure she would ever find true love again, Sarah wandered through life, trying to keep a safe distance from others. Finally she took the plunge and married, and even though marriage never brought the real connection she was looking for, it did bring her the true happiness and love she had always sought. That love was the lives of her three children and two stepchildren. Through all the ups and downs that life brought her, Sarah clung to her children and the joy they brought her, cheering at soccer games, smoothing over hurt feelings, meeting boyfriends and girlfriends, and ultimately, holding her children's children. Laugh and cry along with Karen Elizabeth Surenko through her poignant and touching story of a mother's love in Carrots Take a Long Time to Chew.
