Skills & Experience Requirements:
    • Previous experience in retail preferred.
    • Ability to demonstrate strong customer focused service.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees.
    • Ability to receive feedback and take action when appropriate.
    • Ability to meet brand availability requirements.
    • Ability to lift and carry 30 lbs.
    • Ability to maneuver around sales floor and stockroom.

Must be available to work Black Friday weekend, mornings, evenings, and weekends.

We are a licensed salon and spa offering everything from first haircuts to mani-pedis, facials and more. We have over 8 signature birthday party themes to make her special day perfect. In additional we have a full retail store offering jewelry, gift items, ear piercing, make-up, clothing, gift items and more for girls and tweens. Our team members work in a fun and upbeat, fast-paced environment where customer service is our upmost priority. 

    We are seeking a store manager responsible for managing day-to-day operations and all customer service activities related to salon and party services offered at Sweet & Sassy.  The Store Manager will provide outstanding customer service as per company standards, and ensure all assistance is provided quickly and proficiently as to safeguard company culture.

    Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

    Customer Service

    • Able to role model and train on excellent customer service.
    • Identifies, coordinates, and implements necessary tools for providing outstanding customer service to internal and external channels to effectively conduct business.
    • Ensures that each customer receives outstanding service in a timely manner and in a friendly environment.
    • Validates and authorizes customer refunds, etc. per company policies and procedures.
    • Ensures all customer service issues are addressed in compliance with company policies and standards.
    • Complies with established company policies and standards as related to customer service issues.
    • Maintains solid knowledge of all products and services offered by the company to ensure customer needs are met consistently.
    • Implements marketing programs for sales of products and services offered at Sweet & Sassy.
    • Provides management support as needed for any tasks/projects related to customer service or sales activities.
    • Stocks/processes inventory items on a daily basis to maintain retail / salon product areas.
    • Communicates with owners and other relevant personnel regarding requests to increase service/product offerings or improve customer service initiatives.

    Human Resources

    • Maintains store staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
    • Maintains clean, organized, and neat work environment at all times.
    • Staff scheduling
    • Maintains confidential employee paperwork
    • Provides staff with individual goals/objectives and provide direction for achievement of stated goals.
    • Evaluates staff performance and provides constructive feedback on an regular basis.
    • Creates policies and procedures that will provide stability in work environment and consistency of service offerings.
    • Handles employee issues including verbal and written documentations

    Retail Merchandise & Inventory

    • Orders retail inventory on a monthly basis
    • Looks for new and innovative vendors and wholesalers
    • Orders supply for salon and party department
    • Balance monthly budgets and expenses
    • Responsible for carrying out monthly inventory counts and assessments


    • Assists store owner with store marketing advertising
    • Manage social media and store web page

Skills & Experience Requirements:
    • Creative, motivated self-starter
    • Strong organization skills
    • Proficient in scheduling of staff and customer appointments
    • Proficient with Mac computers and programs such as Booker, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Using the internet etc.
